christmas

Aelita had a great christmas. She got all kinds of new toys. She got a choo choo train a digital camera, some clothes, shoes, clay,cabbage patch doll, and a lot of other things. we also found out that she needs to start wearing glasses as soon as they come in i'll take pix and post them.

Aelita is getting big. She'll be 3 in june and i can't wait until she gets out of the terriable twos. She's such a brat right now and i don't know what to do with her anymore.

Aelita is doing very well. She's a very active two year old. Aelita is talking a lot more now and has a habbit of telling everyone to shut-up, no and hush. She loves being with cousins Joe and T.J and with her Nana. I'm still working with her on getting her potty trained. Last weekend we went to kentucky and she got to spend time with her 2 year old cousin and had the time of her life. she's getting so big i just wish that she'd slow down just a little bit.

2 years old!!

Well Aelita is offically 2 years old. Her pary was mickey mouse club house and went okay i guess. A friend was supposed to make her cake but ran out of time so he ended up just buying her one instead. Not everyone that said they were coming came but at least grandma and her aunt rachael and uncle noah showed up. I'll post pics as soon as i get the chance.

23 month pics

Just 3 more weeks!!

I Can't beleive that Aelita will be two in just 3 short weeks. We've already started getting her party decorations and have decided to have her party at the park. this year she's going to have a mickeymouse clubhouse party. She's saying more words every day. Here are some of the newest ones she learned:

feeling better

Aelita is finally feeling better after her bout with tonsilitis and ear infections. She's also talking a lot more. Some new words and phrases she says are:
sissy
what you doing
she's crying
where you going

spongebob
i gotta go potty
She's so talkative. She's likes to do things on her own now. she's also started to undress herself in the morning and going to sit on her little potty.

Sick baby

Aelita now has Tonsilitis. We took her to the doctors yesterday because she was running a fever of 102.9 and the motrin was only bringing down about 2 degrees. She still weighs 24lbs. She's not really eating too much right now.

ER Trip

Monday we took Aelita to the ER. She was out playing with her friend Allie and hit her head on the gate. She bled like crazy but luckly she didn't need any stiches the doctor just but a little dermabond on the cut but she was okay. She'll just have a little scar above her left eye.

22 months

Aelita is now 22 months old. She's a very active little girl. Lately she's been pretty sick with an ear infection. She's starting to talk a lot more now and play more with her little sister. She loves watching little einsteins and mickey mouse clubhouse on playhouse disney. She's now 33 inches tall and weighs 24 pounds. She's getting big way to fast, but she's still a joy to have around.

Aelita is now very talkative. She always has something to say about everything. She's always a happy little kid. right now she has an ear infection, but takes her medicine with now problem. She's such a good girl.

big sister

aelita is growing so fast. I still cant believe shes going to be two in just 3 1/2 months. She's such a joy to have around. she loves to help with kiana. Her favorite things to do right now is play with her little sister, watch mickey mouse clubhouse and little einstiens, go to the park, and spend time with grandma cora. her newest thing to say is what you doing and "oh toodles"(off of mickey mouse clubhouse)right now i'm trying to teach her to dribble a basketball and i'm still trying to get her potty trained. Aelita is such in important part of my life and i couldn't imagine life with out her.

mommy's little helper

Aelita us such a good little helper. she always gets a diaper for kiana when it's time to change her diaper and throws away the dirty ones for me. Lately shes been trying to get her to stop crying by getting in her face and saying hey, hey and grabing a hold of her hand.

finally getting better

Aelita is finally starting to show some signs of improvement after almost two months of a runny nose and cough. hopefully its finally nearing the end of whatever she had.

Another doc appt

Today we took Aelita in to the doctors again because shes had arunny nose and cough since before the kiana was born. this was the third appt for this issue. the first time they just said it was a viris and to give her lots of fluids. the second time the doc said it was allergies but they wont test for allergies until 3 this time the doc said that it might be a sinus infection and put her on antibiotics and scheduled a followup in two weeks.

little einstiens

this is aelita watching little einsteins. she really likes that cartoon on playhouse disney along with mickey mouse clubhouse. she seems to be mezmorized by them. we're going to either have her a mickey mouse or little einstiens birthday this year.

Doctor appt

today i took Aelita to the doctors because she wasnt moving her left arm after she fell down the stairs on saterday and she kept rubbing her head like it was bothering her. the doctor said that she was fine and she could move her arm just fine, however he just looked her over at least when i was in the military they would have taken x-rays to make sure everything was really okay. needless to say i'm still pretty hesitant about letting her go down the stairs on her own again for awhile.

I can't wait until we can get into a place of our own that doesn't have stairs. Aelita Fell down the stairs today after breakfast well half way down the stairs anyway. She's okay but i really don't like her trying to go down the stairs anymore.

nap time

Aelita has decided that today she wasn't going to take a nap. I put her down right after lunch like i normally do and went up stairs to finish putting things away from lunch and she came out to the family room downstairs, turned on the t.v and was watching playhouse disney at least until she relized that i had come back down stairs to put Kiana in her bed.

terrible twos

i cant wait for aelita to get through this phase. Today she was just being realy naughty not listening to anyone. she scribbled all over the furniture and kept running up and down the stairs until she fell and busted her lip. I just wish she would start listening to me more often. she is really good with her sister though. she loves to hold her and kiss her. lately shes been trying to pick her up especially if shes crying.

my poor baby

aelita is sick again. she is so stuffed up its hard for her to breath especially at night when she lays down to sleep. i hate it when shes sick.

Such a good big sister.

Aelita is getting so big now. I can't belive that in just 4 1/2 months she'll be 2. She's such a great big sister. She loves to hold Kiana and give her kisses. She also likes to get me a diaper for kiana and trow the dirty ones away. She's so good to Kiana. I can't wait until they can actually play together.

Aelita is now 19 months old and has entered the terriable twos already. She has also started waking up in the middle of the night and raiding the snack shelf. she's adjusting well to having Kiana here and loves to hug and kiss her all the time. I just have to remind her to be gentle and not so rough sometimes.

I'm a big sister now!!

Our little Artist

Aelita really loves to color now. She'll use what ever she can get to draw in her notebook. Luckily we haven't had her color on anything other then paper and herself. She also likes to put the caps on and off of pens every chance she gets. She's so silly sometimes.

Growing up way too fast.

Aelita has now figured out how to put on and take off her pants which i guess is a good and bad thing at the same time. Now if we don't put shoes on her she'll constantly pull her pants off and run around in her diaper or training pants. She's now back in story time and still really enjoys it. She is so spoiled though. My mom is always buying something for her.

I'm growing up

Aelita is growing way to fast. I can't belive that in just 5 months she'll be two years old. She's now saying more and more. her new favorite phrase is all gone. She still loves to eat everything she sees. She also enjoys playing with her baby dolls and taking care of them. she likes trying to feed them in her doll highchair and puting them to bed in her little doll playpen. Aelita has also started making so pretty funny faces lately especially when you try to take a picture of her and she relizes that your doing it. Aelita has also become quite our little housekeeper no if only it sticks with her when she gets a little bit older.
